The Framework Community Board (FWCB) works hard to maintain a clearly visible pipeline of work. This currently includes 43 projects worth over £500 million. Clearly there remains a level of uncertainty around each project until all regulatory procedures, land acquisition and appropriate funding has been secured.

Despite the uncertainties the below graph demonstrates a largely steady flow of projects through to construction which assists framework contractors to plan their resources more efficiently. All member authorities are encouraged to continue to provide regular updates on expected future work. If your authority has a project which you would like to add to the pipeline please contact john.hooper@leics.gov.uk

During the early contractor involvement stage detailed project programmes and specific project outputs are agreed. The use of the NEC Engineering Construction Contract, ensures that effective project management principles are followed to ensure that the agreed outcomes are delivered in a timely manner.

We have a number of NEC training courses, free to MHA members and contractors, visit the calendar for our latest events.

A range of virtual learning modules are also available on our learning management system
