building social value

We incorporate social value principles into our MSF framework in a number of ways, including a requirement that each scheme assesses how it contributes to delivering social value. The Employment and Skills Plan (14 targets) is expected to be agreed for all schemes over £1m and this plan is augmented by 16 building social value priorities (bsv)

We encourage our schemes to identify MHA+ building social value priorities – which is based on the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Building Social Value Assessment.

We hoped to partner CCS, but developed a MHA+ building social values (BSV) priorities spreadsheet – **available to download by MHA+ members on the secure MHA+ Information Sharing Platform (ISP). We are using this spreadsheet to capture additional social value outputs/achievements on MSF schemes.
