This four day programme fuses together the skills required of a project manager with those technical skills required by the NEC. Taking delegates from project start up to project closure it will look at the procedures as described in the ECC, the purpose of those procedures and the implications for not following them correctly. It also ensures delegates are familiar with the interdependencies of the various documents required by the ECC.
The MHA accreditation event will be delivered in two x 2 day blocks. We have provided a period in-between (the face to face delivery) to enable the delegate to undertake the necessary review; reflection and research for the Project report and online question paper.
Part 1 – Online training
This is composed of 2 modules:
- NEC4: Introduction to the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) – which is available via the MHA lms – some of you may have completed this
- NEC4: ECC – Managing Time and the Programme – which is available on the nec portal – we have negotiated a special rate for this module – you will be invoiced by nec direct for this element of the accreditation.
Both of these modules must be completed before you can attend the classroom based sessions.
Part 2 – face to face learning– which will be delivered in 2 two-day blocks to enable review/reflection and research time.
These two dates will deliver
