Programme Overview

This one day MHA event covers the practicalities of applying some of the collaborative management processes that are an essential part of the ECC. Delegates will be provided with invaluable practical guidance on managing an NEC:4 ECC Option C contract within the Midlands Highway Alliance Framework. Where applicable, the content of the event has been changed in order to support the MSF3 framework provided by the MHA

Learning event agenda:

•Session 1 – Scene setting

•Session 2 – How can ECI be used?

•Session 3 – Managing X22 Stage One

•Session 4 – Option X15 and the ‘early’ programme

Why attend this learning event?

You will receive invaluable guidance on how to apply ECI Stage One with the ECC in practice from NEC and industry experts

Comprehensive course materials will be provided as part of the learning event

Can you bring your own copy of the NEC 4 ECC contract and guidance notes – which are essential for the course but will not be provided.

It is recommended that participants complete the virtual learning course – Introduction to the ECC  – prior to booking themselves onto this learning event. The updated NEC4 version is available on the MHA lms.

Other learning to support NEC4: Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)is the virtual learning module ECC: NEC3 and NEC4 compared – to see how the contracts have developed into the new edition NEC4 as well as the new functionality on offer – including the new contracts and comparison between the NEC3 and the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).

These NEC4 modules providing underpinning content are both available on the MHA lms.

You will be provided with refreshments and lunch and you can indicate any dietary preferences on the lms
