The TSC Service Manager Accreditation is designed to equip delegates with the skills necessary to be able to fulfil the role of a Service Manager under the NEC3 Term Service Contact (TSC). The programme is part of unique suite of accreditations for those undertaking managerial roles within NEC3 projects and contracts. Under the TSC, the Employer is represented by the Service Manager. The Service Manager has a critical role during the service delivery phase of the contract and must:
- Issue instructions
- Monitor the performance of the Contractor
- Maintain the risk register
- Assess compensation events and payments
- Manage the Contractor’s Plan
There are three parts to the programme:
completion of two online modules:
Introduction to the Term Service Contract (TSC)- available on the MHA lms. This should be completed first.
Following achievement of the competence level required – you will be registered onto the nec learning portal to complete:
Managing the Term Service Contract (TSC) Contractor’s plan and programme – available on the nec portal – we have negotiated a special rate for this module – you will be invoiced direct for this element of the accreditation

that must be completed before you can attend the classroom based sessions. The face – face training will be delivered over four days – two days over two weeks. You must attend all four days.

Day 4 – Contract Management and Contract Closure
This advanced level accreditation programme has been developed for anyone who is, or has an interest in becoming, an NEC3 TSC Service Manager. Delegates will include:
Current or aspiring TSC Service Managers
Facilities managers
Asset managers
Maintenance managers
Estates managers
Contracting organisations
You will be provided with refreshments and lunch on these days
